Hello, I'd like to ask you a question about the Pokémon article. Why do you feel The "unobtainable" Pokémon section belongs under the section "Codes and glitches"? I mean, how are they "glitches"? And I don't see how they're codes... Anyway, please respond soon. - Bulbaboy 21:57, 5 May 2004 (UTC)

Polygons

Can you go to the Category:Polygons category at Misplaced Pages?? What do you think of it?? 66.32.255.134 00:10, 18 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Extreme Points of the United States

I added a category. Fiddle with it as you see fit. Mackerm 05:44, 22 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Template:Nintendochar

WP:TFD decision was to delete the Template:Nintendochar template as it was far too large. It is also better to use categories in this instance.

Article Licensing

Hi, I've started a drive to get users to multi-license all of their contributions that they've made to either (1) all U.S. state, county, and city articles or (2) all articles, using the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike (CC-by-sa) v1.0 and v2.0 Licenses or into the public domain if they prefer. The CC-by-sa license is a true free documentation license that is similar to Misplaced Pages's license, the GFDL, but it allows other projects, such as WikiTravel, to use our articles. Since you are among the top 1000 Wikipedians by edits, I was wondering if you would be willing to multi-license all of your contributions or at minimum those on the geographic articles. Over 90% of people asked have agreed. For More Information:

To allow us to track those users who muli-license their contributions, many users copy and paste the "{{DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual}}" template into their user page, but there are other options at Template messages/User namespace. The following examples could also copied and pasted into your user page:

Option 1
I agree to ] all my contributions, with the exception of my user pages, as described below:
{{DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual}}

OR

Option 2
I agree to ] all my contributions to any ], county, or city article as described below:
{{DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual}}

Or if you wanted to place your work into the public domain, you could replace "{{DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual}}" with "{{MultiLicensePD}}". If you only prefer using the GFDL, I would like to know that too. Please let me know what you think at my talk page. It's important to know either way so no one keeps asking. -- Ram-Man (comment| talk)

Mohonk Preserve and Mohonk Mountain House (Resort)

Since there is now an article on the Mohonk Mountain House I thought it would make sense to rename this article Mohonk Preserve. Since you've done the most recent work on it, I thought I should let you know. Mwanner 16:06, May 30, 2005 (UTC)

Sources for colours

When you create articles for colours, could you please include some justification? For example, where does Gray-Tea Green come from? I understand that a great many of these are Crayola colours, and as such would be perfectly fine. Unfortunately without anything to justify them, they just look like cruft and are liable to "deletionist attack". --Phil | Talk June 28, 2005 11:37 (UTC)

Hoboken

Just thought I'd let you know that I have merged the articles on Hoboken parks and landmarks into one huge umbrella article, Landmarks of Hoboken, New Jersey, since it looks like you're responsible for them. It is, of course, not an irreversible change, but it both gives the tiny articles on parks (which would likely be voted to merge or maybe even delete on VfD anyway) somewhere to go and looks impressive with all the pictures and descriptions together. I have not yet changed the template or the main Hoboken article, as I didn't want to create too much extra work to undo it if no one else liked the change, but I hope you do approve of it. Mindspillage (spill yours?) 30 June 2005 16:35 (UTC)

I've reverted your edits

that changed the maps on U.S. regions articles. A lot of time, effort, and discussion went in to those maps and the defintions portrayed in them. If you have a problem with them direct it here. Thanks. -JCarriker 23:29, July 27, 2005 (UTC)

Image Tagging Image:Carolmarshelection.jpg

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Carolmarshelection.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Misplaced Pages (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Misplaced Pages:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Misplaced Pages:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Shyam 16:19, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

License tagging for Image:2004ElectionControversyMap.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:2004ElectionControversyMap.jpg. Misplaced Pages gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Misplaced Pages, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Misplaced Pages:Media copyright questions. 21:04, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Ryūlóng 03:22, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

List of Nintendo characters

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article List of Nintendo characters, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Misplaced Pages's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Misplaced Pages:What Misplaced Pages is not and Misplaced Pages:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Misplaced Pages, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:List of Nintendo characters. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. You recently added some criticism to the MySpace article without any citations. To keep articles verifiable, we ask that you cite sources showing that someone has criticized MySpace in that way because original research is bad. THank you. -- Chris chat edits essays 12:17, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

Please help

Hi! I got your username from the Association Inclusionist Wikipedians- well done on fighting the good fight. I'm trying to work against a band of linkocrites (see en:User:cochese8). You look as if you're a valuable editor and I could really use some help a great link. I would ask you to review the discussion and vote keep if you agree with the link's value. By the way, you're welcome to ask for my vote to keep any information on this website. Thanks for your help! Cochese8 17:54, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

Please help - inclusionism is "absurb" now

Sorry to bother you, but as an things are getting desperate and I need to appeal to your for help. We are facing a situation where a deletionist admin is free to declare inclusionist arguments "absurd" and ignore them at will. If you don't agree with this situation, please share your opinion here.
