You've been around since June and haven't gotten the welcome message yet? That's a shame. By the way, I'd like to thank you for your articles on Italian geography; they're very good, but you might want to look at some other articles to see how they're formatted (use of boldface, what to link, how to properly indicate external links, etc). And here's the welcome message...
Welcome!

- Hi DS!!
Thank you for the welcoming message, with personalization (what an honour!! :-) )
Trentino-Alto Adige/Sudtirol
Hello, I would like there to be a serious discussion on this region and how the names have been changed. I am from this region and have both Italian and Austrian/German blood. I care for this region like no other. How the names have been manipulated is offensive. To go to a page and see the Province of Bolzano-Bozen now listed as South Tyrol is getting to the point of being ridiculous. Any basic list of provinces of Italy lists Bolzano-Bozen, Trento, etc. Also, any and all cities in the region have both the Italian and German name listed. Taalo 21:33, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
As you have probably realized, I am a wiki-newbie, and, as such, I was supposed to read the tutorials... Was just so eager to start and fouled up a few things (remember the Metal Dreit rock band?)
I promise I'll try and learn everything, although I prefer to learn through mistakes...
In the meantime please be all wikipedians be patient to a stubborn Italian, who's too lazy to learn.. :-)

Vandalism and registration
Hi, I copy here your last comment in Talk:Trentino-South Tyrol: it is better to discuss here about that. You wrote:
- Agree on this point. My impression is only that most of vandalism is carried out by non registered users...
- Of course, this is true. But please, consider also the fact that sometimes registered users are even more malicious than that. Most of the spam, and of the fantasy articles are produced by registered users. Anyway, if you think that an article is often (or too often) vandalized by unregistered users, you can ask for a {{sprotected}} procedure. --gala.martin (what?) 12:49, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
