This is a list of prominent Montenegrins.

It includes individuals who ethnically declare or have declared themselves as either Montenegrins or Serbs.

Several persons on the list fall outside of those two ethnic groups. The list includes a few that declare or have declared as either Bosniaks, Albanians, Muslims by nationality, Bokelji or Yugoslavs.

Additionally, among the above mentioned ethnic groups there are individuals not necessarilly born and raised in Montenegro, but who have either had parent(s) born in Montenegro or have themselves lived there for a significant portion of their life. Such individuals are included as well.
