I have a dream that editors in Misplaced Pages will one day contribute in an encyclopedia where they will not be judged by their userpage identifiers or by their ethnic origins but by the content of their edits.
Dream #2
Reduce Bureaucracy in Misplaced Pages and use WP:AGF and WP:COMMONSENSE more often

The Epic Barnstar
DrK is awarded this barnstar as a recognition for the hard work he has put to present post-war Greek history in Misplaced Pages, creating many long-missed and well-written articles. DrK should also be praised about his efforts on articles about Greek history in general. --Michalis Famelis(talk) 22:01, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

The E=mc² Barnstar
Occasionally, I go through my list and find myself relieved to see when editors that "have a clue" are still around and working on the project. I'm giving this to you, long past due, for the enormous amount of work you have done on a wide range of articles. You solidify my belief that science articles should be worked on by people who know what they are talking about, rather than Randy from Boise. It's good to see you continuing to fight the good fight. recalling past punch-ups
Hi Dr K.
I remember you from some rather fierce debates we had in the past around Greece articles - fierce but never nasty which is rather rare on Misplaced Pages. This time we appear to be on the same page on the Turkish coup article. Let's agree to maintain the fierceness and the fairness if we meet again (either on the same side, or on opposing sides of an argument). After all, Misplaced Pages has far too few people who can argue at the PhD level. Let's go with the odd tradition of Misplaced Pages and put, what according to me, is a fitting barnstar to this
The Barnstar of Integrity
Cheers. Arnoutf (talk) 17:35, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
Thank you very much Arnoutf for the nice words and the barnstar, although I don't recall any "fierce" debates with you. In fact, if I remember well, I think most of the time I tend to agree with you. In the odd time we may have had a disagreement, I don't remember anything strong about it and my respect for you is undiminished. Thank you for keeping the encyclopedia safe. :) Take care. The Purple Barnstar
For your endurance of trollish harassment. Ad Orientem (talk) 19:54, 11 July 2017 (UTC)
(edit conflict) Thank you so much Ad Orientem. You saved my day today, and you are one of the great admins of this project. I think you deserve an admin's barnstar, but I'll reserve this for the future, since you beat me in awarding a barnstar today. :) I never knew this very nice barnstar existed, and it is a very pleasant surprise, especially coming from you. :) Take care. Dr.K. 20:12, 11 July 2017 (UTC)
I completely agree with AO's presentation of this barnstar. You should not have had to deal with this harassment. I hope that the rest of your week goes much better. MarnetteD|Talk 19:58, 11 July 2017 (UTC)
Thank you very much Marnette, for your encouragement, which I really appreciate. I don't know how this happens, but, once in a while, all the wiki trolls wake up and make mischief. It's like an unofficial Halloween for trolls. However, since I've seen activity like this before, I am not really surprised. I was also lucky today, because of the fast response of some outstanding admins. It is nice to know we have these editors around. Dr.K. 20:12, 11 July 2017 (UTC)
