Transilien Paris – Montparnasse is one of the sectors in the Île-de-France suburban rail network, named Transilien. The trains on this sector depart from Gare Montparnasse in the southwestern part of Paris. There are three lines in this sector (all designated "N"), leading to Rambouillet, Dreux and Mantes-la-Jolie. The lines have a total of 117,000 passengers per weekday.
Rolling stock
As of March 2013, the following trains are operated on the line : SNCF Class Z 5300 (only on sections electrified with 1500 V direct current), SNCF Class BB 27300 and BB 7600 [fr] (SNCF Class BB 7200 modified, since 2012, also only on sections electrified with 1500 V direct current) with voiture de banlieue à 2 niveaux coaches.
In the beginning of 2013, some Z 5300 trains are being removed from the line.
Rambouillet Line
This line according to SNCF will get from start to terminus in 1hr03mins, and operates as per this route, on the Paris–Brest railway:

- Gare de Sèvres-Rive-Gauche

Dreux Line
This line according to SNCF will get from start to terminus in 1hr, and operates as per this route, on the Paris–Brest railway up to Saint-Cyr, then on the ligne de Saint-Cyr à Surdon [fr]:
- same route as the Rambouillet line between Montparnasse and Saint-Cyr

Mantes-la-Jolie Line
- same route as the Dreux line between Montparnasse and Plaisir-Grignon, on the Paris–Brest railway up to Saint-Cyr, then on the ligne de Saint-Cyr à Surdon [fr] up to Plaisir, then on the ligne de Plaisir - Grignon à Épône - Mézières [fr] up to Épône-Méziéres, and finally on the Paris–Le Havre railway:
- Gare de Beynes
- Gare de Mareil-sur-Mauldre
- Gare de Maule
- Gare de Nézel-Aulnay
- Gare d'Épône-Mézières
- Gare de Mantes-la-Jolie
