URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT

Hidden Gems

  • The Portal:Russia/Hidden Gems is to list recently unearthed articles that cover Russia-related topics which have been (a) neglected for quite some time and (b) require serious intervention of Russian editors. It is an extension of this page, according to the Russian proverb: "New" is something forgotten for good. As a rule of thumb, don't add articles edited by active members of project Russia.
  • The Portal:Russia/Russian Expansion subpage is to list recently edited articles on general topics that previously did not cover Russia-related specifics. Unless a whole section has been added, please provide diffs, for easy spotting.

The article is not edited by Georgian wikipedian(s) only. It is quite evenhanded and properly referenced using Georgian, Russian and Western sources.--Kober 17:53, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
Not so. The civil war was "tacitly fueled by Russia", without references backing this up, it is not NPOV. And there are more like this one. I'll mark them as unsourced. Errabee 23:35, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
I removed that passage about the civil war added by an anon user. I don't see any other POV problems in the text.--Kober 04:25, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

Thanks. It was me who requested these articles. User:Eaefremov started Fire of Moscow (1812) several days earlier. --Ghirla 09:11, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
Shouldn't they be Moscow Fire of 1812 and so on (like 1871 Great Chicago Fire)? KNewman 19:17, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
I think they should. --Ghirla 20:05, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
Ooops... There is Moscow Engineering Physics Institute already here. The search was of no help (found via ru version) :-( Delete? Join? Redirect? --jno 12:09, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
