Cysts
Hello Barbara (WVS), i removed the listed cyst items - you have replaced them ? why are they included on the tumours page ? Three of the items are also redlinks and unsourced. Again why are they included on the vaginal tumours page - they are called cysts and they have their own page Vaginal cysts. ? And the source given here makes no mention of the word cyst.? --Iztwoz (talk) 08:02, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- Have just posted comment on Vaginal cysts page. You asked to suggest improvements - re comments on other page there needs to be a clearer define of terms. The source used on vaginal cysts page lists cysts and warts as well. This page is a list - its in no discernible order at all. Its not even alphabetical. Perhaps i'm missing something.?--Iztwoz (talk) 12:07, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- Your comments are very helpful! Yes the list is not yet alphabetical and that is something that needs to be done. More than one references lists cysts as 'tumors' or neoplasms. If there is any problem at this point which needs to be 'fixed' it is the referencing. I will continue to edit the article and improve it to address your concerns. - Done The table is sortable and now provides an alphabetized list. Barbara (WVS) ✐ ✉ 14:08, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- The major problem with the article now is to identify those tumors that are actually synonyms of each other. The nomenclature is inconsistent. Barbara (WVS) ✐ ✉ 13:45, 1 March 2018 (UTC)

Pointless page
Hello again Barbara (WVS) - having looked again at various related pages; there is a page Vaginal cancer; there is a page Vaginal cysts; the instance of benign vaginal tumours is rare enough to be just made mention of on the Vaginal cancer page. What is the point of this separate list ? --Iztwoz (talk) 12:21, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- The point of the list is just that-to create a list of vaginal tumours so that there is a 'central' page from which readers can get oriented and directed. This list is the only place on WP where some of these tumors are mentioned. Not all tumours are cancer. I suppose another 'list' page could be 'Benign vaginal tumors'. Lists are just the beginning of new, encyclopedic content. They are helpful to editors, also for those who wish to create content on these rare neoplasms. There are many conditions, some just known from a few case studies, on WP that are 'rarer' than those tumors on the Vaginal tumours list page. From my reading on the topic, vaginal cancer is much more rare than vaginal tumours. Best Regards, Barbara (WVS) ✐ ✉ 13:23, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- Surely a vaginal cancer is a malignant tumor. --Iztwoz (talk) 15:57, 4 March 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, of course. I think a hatnote will be good. Listen, I didn't create the nomenclature and was as surprised as you were to see that cysts are also tumors. Remember, vaginal tumors and vaginal cysts are even more common than vaginal cancer and just as notable. As irritating as my editing can be, every time you edit an article is improved and you keep me on my toes. Best Regards, Barbara (WVS) ✐ ✉ 18:48, 4 March 2018 (UTC)
Orphaned references in Vaginal tumors
I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Vaginal tumors's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 14:04, 1 March 2018 (UTC)

Non WP:MEDRS sources
Due to the rarity of some of these tumors, very little, if any review articles exist to support their content. Barbara (WVS) ✐ ✉ 00:34, 2 March 2018 (UTC)
- Also Barbara (WVS) i don't know if you are aware that one of the references used heavily (16) is from a book on domestic animals. ?--Iztwoz (talk) 17:32, 3 March 2018 (UTC)
- Well, that is quite embarrassing. Thank you for pointing that out to me. Best Regards, Barbara (WVS) ✐ ✉ 20:18, 3 March 2018 (UTC)
