Lactation consultant

I just prodded the lactation consultant article for being a puff piece without reliable secondary sources. Someone more knowledgeable than me may want to write a real article about the topic; I'd say WP:TNT applies. Huon (talk) 00:39, 28 December 2017 (UTC)

Hi @Huon:, and thanks for bringing this up here. I missed this discussion, and the PROD. I searched for this article while I was updating another article on breastfeeding, discovered that it had been deleted, and asked for it to be restored.
W.r.t. puffery, being a puff piece can be a good reason to delete an article about an organization, person, or product, but I have never seen it as a deletion rationale for an occupation. I've done some refactoring of the article and I disagree that it was a TNT case. Let me know if you still have concerns. Cheers, Clayoquot (talk | contribs) 22:50, 17 January 2018 (UTC)

Review on health inequities for marginalized women

PMID 29137869 is a recent, top-quality review that presents information about the effects of exclusion on "homeless populations, individuals with substance use disorders, sex workers, and imprisoned individuals", including information about how women are affected. The article is free to read, so please consider whether it could be useful to expand articles about women's health. WhatamIdoing (talk) 01:09, 26 January 2018 (UTC)

Help w/ a women's health hackathon

Hi all,

Potentially of interest to many people here: I am running an editathon as part of a conference/hackathon about breastfeeding, family leave and maternal health: Misplaced Pages:Meetup/Breast pump hackathon. I'd love your help sourcing articles that need work about these topics or relevant missing bios, etc. for participants to work on. Please feel free to edit the meetup page above. Thank you!!!
