Col. Sona Ram is a politician of Indian National Congress and Member of Parliament from Barmer in Rajasthan, India. He was born in the family of Hindu Jat of UR Chaudhary on 31 March 1945 in village Sri Mohangarh, Distt. Jaisalmer (Rajasthan). His mother’s name is Ratani Bai. He married with Vimla Choudhar on 20 November 1969. He has got one son and one daughter.

Education

He did is B.E., Fellow (F.I.E.). He got education at Multipurpose Higher Secondary School, M.B.M. Engineering College, Jodhpur (Rajasthan) and Institute of Engineers (India).
