right|225px|Location of Bougouni in Mali Bougouni is a city in Mali, the administrative center of its Cercle, which is in turn found in the administrative region of Sikasso. Bougouni is located at 11°25'00" North, 7°29'00" West, 170 km south of Bamako and 210 km west of the city of Sikasso. It covers an area of 7 square kilometres and has a population of roughly 30,000 people, mostly Peuls and Bambaras.
