David Hill (1809–1850), was a pioneer and settler of what became Hillsboro, Oregon, United States.

Born in Connecticut, David Hill traveled on the Oregon Trail by wagon train to the Oregon Territory. He attended the Champoeg Meeting of May 2, 1843, which led to Oregon becoming part of the United States. He served as a provisional governor during the First Executive Committee and was elected to the legislature of the state election of 1846.

Hill donated a portion of his land claim to form the town he chose to name Columbia. The name was changed to Hillsborough after Hill died, and later shortened to Hillsboro.

Hill also sold part of his land to the county for the site of the first Washington County courthouse.

David Hill Elementary school in Hillsboro, which was established in 1888, is named in his honor. Hill is buried at the Hillsboro Pioneer Cemetery on TV Highway near Dairy Creek.
