Sandbox

  • Update articles: Some of the material I plan to add is very controversial...particularly (Ehrman 2016). Still I feel strongly that Misplaced Pages should be up to date and written from a NPOV! Therefore I have taken some time to
(1) review Misplaced Pages Policy and
(2) carefully prepare draft edits in my sandbox.
  • Next step: I plan to ask a number of respected editors to review my sand box draft edits and identify any potential problems.
  • Finally: I will resume normal editing.

Thanks for all the help! - Ret.Prof (talk) 15:10, 17 February 2017 (UTC)

It is a pleasure to receive support from an "old hand", if you will excuse the expression. Cullen Let's discuss it 03:34, 24 July 2017 (UTC)
LOL My hands are not the things that are old! Thanks for making yourself available as an admin! - Ret.Prof (talk) 17:50, 29 July 2017 (UTC)

ArbCom 2017 election voter message

Hello, Ret.Prof. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
