April 2018

Information icon Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, Gerard Piqué, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 15:54, 26 April 2018 (UTC)

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Sergi Roberto, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Misplaced Pages:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 16:04, 26 April 2018 (UTC)

August 2018

Information icon Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Misplaced Pages, as you did to Marlon Santos, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Nzd (talk) 06:33, 6 August 2018 (UTC)

Samuel Umtiti

Hi, could you explain why "centre back" needs to be hyphenated? Thanks, Mattythewhite (talk) 20:15, 1 September 2018 (UTC)

October 2018

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Joan Luque. This violates Misplaced Pages's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. GiantSnowman 14:00, 1 October 2018 (UTC)

  • Maybe so, but I'm thinking of just the name--I'm not interested in figuring out some COI conflict right now. If it stands for what I think it stands, it's in violation of the policy. OK: Fcbjuvenil, I believe that your username violates our terms. Please see WP:CORPNAME and you'll understand why. Usually I block for that immediately, and the user can change their name afterward, but in this case I'll give you the chance to change your name without my blocking you. So read and think about the policy; there are a few easy options for changing it so it's acceptable. Come up with something and post your request on Misplaced Pages:Changing username, and ping me when you do so, please. I'll be back in a few days to see what happened. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 14:29, 2 October 2018 (UTC)

Your attention needed at WP:CHU

Hello. A renamer or clerk has responded to your username change request, but requires clarification before moving forward. Please follow up at your username change request entry as soon as possible. Thank you. ‐‐1997kB (talk) 01:27, 3 October 2018 (UTC)

Juan Brandáriz moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Juan Brandáriz, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Misplaced Pages). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Misplaced Pages's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hey, yeah it was an own goal for me aswell but laliga gives it to him, so we follow the source. Kante4 (talk) 10:41, 4 November 2018 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Juan Brandáriz

Notice

The article Juan Brandáriz has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG and WP:NFOOTY. Player has not played in a fully-pro league. Player has played against an amateur team (Cultural Leonesa) in Copa del Rey.

While all constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ArbCom 2018 election voter message

Hello, Fcbjuvenil. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)

January 2019

Information icon Hello, I'm Nzd. I noticed that you recently removed content from Malcom (footballer) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Misplaced Pages with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Nzd (talk) 22:24, 12 January 2019 (UTC)

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Misplaced Pages.

When editing Misplaced Pages, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Marc-André ter Stegen does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Walter Görlitz (talk) 01:22, 16 January 2019 (UTC)

Malcom (footballer)

If you have an edit reverted, please do not just make the same edit again without explanation. I gave a reason for my reversion; you have offered nothing. Please discuss the issue on the talk page. Thanks, Nzd (talk) 00:15, 17 January 2019 (UTC)

Again, if you have an issue with referenced content, you should discuss this on the talk page. Please stop continually changing to your preferred version without explaination. Communication is required when editing Misplaced Pages. Thank you, Nzd (talk) 17:40, 1 February 2019 (UTC)

January 2019

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on John Obi Mikel. This violates Misplaced Pages's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. Mattythewhite (talk) 19:18, 28 January 2019 (UTC)

Maximiliano Meza (footballer, born 1992)

Hello! Maximiliano Meza left Independiente and joined Monterrey in 2018, as noted by the article's sources. He also trained with Monterrey in 2018, as seen here. If you wish to have a discussion about this, please do - blindly reverting with/without an edit war doesn't help in any way. R96Skinner (talk) 20:07, 8 February 2019 (UTC)

I've left a compromise of 2019 both ways. 2018 both ways is evidently arguable, whereas your edits of 2018/2019 do not make sense - that would suggest he joined Monterrey on a free transfer, which he didn't. R96Skinner (talk) 20:14, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
An edit war isn't necessary. Discuss here or at the Maximiliano Meza talk page. R96Skinner (talk) 14:36, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
