Operation Summer Rain suboperations are a row of military operations launched by the Israel Defense Forces into the Gaza strip in the aftermath of the capture of Gilad Shalit.

Summer Rains suboperations

Operation Southern Shalit

An IDF operation in southern Gaza which began in June 28. The first Summer Rains operation, named after kidnapped solider Gilad Shalit.

Operation Bashan Oaks

An IDF operation in northern Gaza which began on July 2.

Operation Feedback

An IDF operation in central Gaza which began on July 12.

Operation Final Grade

An IDF operation in northern Gaza, which began on July 16 and ended on July 18.

Operation Samson's Pillars

An IDF operation in the Sajaya neighborhood which began on July 26.

Operation Horizon Line

An IDF operation in southern Gaza and Rafah, which began on August 2.

Operation Locked Garden

An IDF operation in the Sajaya neighborhood which began on 26 August.
