Image without license

Unspecified source/license for File:Tilianpearson.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Tilianpearson.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Misplaced Pages's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Misplaced Pages can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Misplaced Pages:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot 02:00, 13 March 2019 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Tilianpearson.jpg

A tag has been placed on File:Tilianpearson.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Misplaced Pages takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Misplaced Pages to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Misplaced Pages:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Misplaced Pages:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Misplaced Pages's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. Problems with upload of File:There’s A Place I Want To Take You.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:There’s A Place I Want To Take You.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Misplaced Pages, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

Non-free rationale for File:There’s A Place I Want To Take You.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:There’s A Place I Want To Take You.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Misplaced Pages is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

Edit Summaries

You almost never use edit summaries. Please use them moving forward. --David Tornheim (talk) 07:28, 28 April 2019 (UTC)

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Misplaced Pages.

When editing Misplaced Pages, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Tilian Pearson does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! --David Tornheim (talk) 07:28, 28 April 2019 (UTC)

Reliable sources

Please read about the proper use of reliable sources WP:RS. See also WP:ALBUMS and WP:ALBUMAVOID. --David Tornheim (talk) 07:31, 28 April 2019 (UTC)

Undisclosed COI?

Are you being paid to edit? Are you employed in the music industry? Are you paid to promote music? Do you have any close connection with people or organizations that might create a potential conflict of interest with your editing of music articles? --David Tornheim (talk) 07:34, 28 April 2019 (UTC)

April 2019

Information icon Hello, I'm David Tornheim. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Sianvar, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Twitter and Facebook are generally not reliable sources. Please read WP:ALBUMAVOID. --David Tornheim (talk) 07:48, 28 April 2019 (UTC)

Question

Hi Thedivinemania. I notice that you have put "diting and creating articles for independent musicians and musical groups" on your user page. I also note that David Tornheim has asked you above whether you have a conflict of interest in your edits, and you have not, i believe answered him. I will be a bit more specific without, i hope, coming across in a nasty way: Are you being paid, in any way receiving benefits, for the article creations and edits you perform for these musicians? You should be aware that the community does not look kindly on paid editing, especially not on undisclosed paid editing. I suggest you read PAID fully and decide if it applies. I would further suggest that you do so and answer the questions put to you, even if in the negative, before you do any more editing.
Please ask if i (or any other user) can help you with anything; my talk page is at the end of this link, and i am more than happy to help or answer questions or point you in the right direction. Happy days, Lindsay 10:20, 3 May 2019 (UTC)

@LindsayH: FYI. Response here at User_talk:David_Tornheim#Repsonse (permalink (TBA)), which says:
In response to your questions about me being getting paid to edit and create articles, the answer is no. I do not get paid by any party, nor do I work in the music industry. I do this on my own time for leisure.
