I moved the page from Rodderick Toombs to Roderick Toombs; among other sources, Roddy's 2002 biography gives the correct spelling as "Roderick". --Chrysaor 22:28, 28 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Why not just Roddy Piper? Naming Conventions say to use the most common name. There doesn't seem to be any reason to use his real name.--Darren Jowalsen 03:33, May 20, 2005 (UTC)

Requested move

Toombs is best known as Roddy Piper, and he seems to own the trademark, so there's no chance he'll stop using the name anytime soon (unlike many wrestlers). Therefore, there's no reason to keep this page at its current location.

WCW career

There is hardly any information regarding his time in WCW other than the year he was signed and the year he was released. Anybody care to fill the gaps? Jeff Silvers 04:53, 22 December 2005 (UTC)

I have done so. There is a lot storyline wise from 98/99 that I left out, but the basics are covered. MFuture 19:11, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

Family

Does anyone know the names of his children? I know that he has a son named Colton and a daughter named Fallon Danica. Doesn't he have a daughter named Ariel that recntly gave birth to Roddy's first grandchild?

Vitalstatistics

I don't think Piper is as tall as 6'2".(Halbared 07:43, 2 June 2006 (UTC))

Vince is 6 ft 2 in, looking at this pic http://www.obsessedwithwrestling.com/pictures/r/roddypiper/40.jpg I'd say Piper is nearing 6 ft. What do others think?(Halbared 14:21, 6 June 2006 (UTC))

Complaint

I've read some Pro-Wrestling pages and this one seems to be one of the most "Pro"Pro wrestling, meaning, it reads like the author believes that it's real. Can someone do something about all these pages? SRodgers--65.24.77.104 17:19, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

Updated Facts piper won the golden gloves boxing championship was a black belt in judo and was an amatuer wrestler . He also won over 7000 matches . All are facts and should be mentioned. Rick Flair said Piper was the most talented pro wrestler in history bar none.Cashisclay 20:20, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

Piper's Pit

Who is for it as a seperate article, and who is against it? I think a discussion needs to be made, before people just decide to revert it back to a redirect with no discussion. The interview segment is notable, and can be more than just "listcruft" as one editor called it during a revert back to the redirect. RobJ1981 07:57, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

Not supposed to win the Tag Team title?

What's this about Flair and Piper weren't even supposed to win the Tag Team titles? This is the first I've heard of it, and what's more, there's no proof of this. I'm taking it out until someone brings forth some proof. Anakinjmt 14:44, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
