Haroon is noted as one of the best Pakistani singers of the newer generations. Born on May 11th in London, UK, Haroon is the son of a New Zealander mother as well as a Pakistani father. He recieved his musical influence at a very early age which brings him now to his immediate success as a singer in Pakistan. Haroon released his solo album "Haroon ki Awaz"(in Urdu meaning 'Haroons voice') in October 2000. Ever since, Haroons songs have been displayed on PTV (Pakistan Telivision). However, this is not his only solo album; Haroon also realeased "Lagan"(In Urdu meaning 'desire' or 'attatchment')which was realeased in September 2002. Haroon is known for his very classy mix in his songs. For example, in his song "Mahbooba" he adds some Arabic lyrics.
