Danis Zinnurovich Zaripov (Template:Lang-ru, Template:Lang-tt; born 26 March 1981) is a Russian professional ice hockey left winger currently playing for Ak Bars Kazan of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Zaripov was also a member of the Russia men's national ice hockey team for the 2010 Winter Olympics.
Zaripov won the Gagarin Cup five times (2009, 2010, 2014, 2016, 2018). In 2017, Zaripov was banned from the KHL and IIHF through 2019 for testing positive for pseudoephedrine, an ingredient commonly found in allergy medicine and nasal decongestants. He has expressed interest in playing in the National Hockey League, which does not ban the substance.
He has a son Arthur with his wife, Tatiana, with whom he has been in a relationship since the year 2000.
