Nigel David Jones (born 30 March 1948) is a politician in the United Kingdom. He is Liberal Democrat member of Parliament for Cheltenham, and has been since 1992.

In 2000, a deranged constituent attacked him and an assistant, Andrew Pennington (a local councillor). Pennington was killed, and Jones was severely injured. The assailant, Robert Ashman, was found guilty of manslaughter and attempted murder, and was sent to a secure hospital.
