Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you.

WP:CIVIL

Please refer to actions rather than people in edit summaries. If an edit appears to be POV and promotional, state it as such without the addition of "by disgruntled former business partner." Durova 05:16, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

Regarding reversions made Nov. 16 & 17 to Midnight Syndicate

You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future.

The duration of the block is 24 hours. Khoikhoi 09:19, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

I could say the same to you, but I'm not like that. I wish I didn't have to do so much editing on the article, but you give me no choice. As long as I'm able, I will not allow your edits to stand. You do nothing but demean Midnight Syndicate and promote Joseph Vargo. There is nothing objectionable in my version of the article, it just doesn't talk about Vargo enough to suit you and it's not defamatory to the band. It's so bland it's ridiculous, and I did that just in the hopes of ending this dispute. But you and your alter-ego (GuardianZ) just can't let it go. Why don't you do as Durova suggested and set up a Joseph Vargo article? Then maybe you could leave this one alone. - Skinny McGee 03:41, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
I have not reverted 3 times. AND I did follow Durova's suggestion to cite and reference my content (which is directly related to THIS article, not a new one). I also welcomed your added promotional content, but you chose to make it misleading and to use it to demean Mr. Vargo. Look, it's obvious to me who you are. You are doing exactly what you have been accused of elsewhere. I think you need a reality check. So far you have made no significant contributions to this article. Your only agenda is to hide the name of Vargo and to spin an entirely different story. Oroboros 1 04:42, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
I haven't reverted three times either. And although you are wrong about who I am, it is even more apparent to me who you are (I traced the IP address both you and GuardianZ have posted under to Parma, Ohio). You are the only people who have ever accused Ed Douglas of anything, so this whole thing is very transparent to me. I have not hidden the name of Vargo - I have given him credit for what he did as listed in the CD booklet. There is no spin to my version - it's about as 'just the facts' as you can get. - Skinny McGee 14:52, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Vampyre cd cover.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Vampyre cd cover.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Misplaced Pages and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fritz Saalfeld (Talk) 12:03, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

Sockpuppet notice

Yeah, that sucks don't it. all that stuff about Libel. Thank your friend Dionyseus for that. The notice is pre-scripted, I did not write it. It goes on each user who is a proven sock puppet. I just read the policy though, and it is only to be used for blocked users. Since you and I are not blocked, we don't get one. Dionyseus keeps putting one on my page but if he'll stop, then maybe we can move ahead and get some real work done. He's your friend, why don't you tell him to cool it, or I will report his abuse of my user page. GuardianZ 16:00, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

Hi, GuardianZ. It looks like I was posting something on your user page at the same time you were posting something here. I think you're still a bit confused about the policy, though. It says that the tag should not be used on accounts that have not been blocked. I don't interpret that to mean it can only be used on accounts that are currently blocked. Your account was blocked for three days for sockpuppetry, so I think Dionyseus is correct in posting the tag on your page. Just my opinion. - Skinny McGee 16:07, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
The tag is used for main accounts that have used sockpuppets for abuse. In this case, User:GuardianZ has abused Misplaced Pages policy by using his sockpuppet User:Oroboros_1 to tagteam in the Midnight Syndicate article. Dionyseus 16:29, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

I was NOT being abusive. You both are harassing me. I only made ONE 3RR, and YOU, Skinny have 3 more socks. I don't care if it's your wife, dog, mother... it's a total fabrication. You're both just pissed because I can prove my edits to the article and you can't. And why is that? Because everything you write is a lie. Between you and Dionyseus you have reverted way more than me. You two were tagteaming and you will be found out. I have reported you both and we will see. GuardianZ 23:30, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

Sorry to butt in guys... might be interesting reading. Daniel.Bryant 23:45, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
First, please pardon me, GuardianZ, for sharing my own personal interpretation of the sock puppet policy after you posted a message on my talk page regarding that policy. Second, I don't have time to harass you, I'm too busy defending myself from your attacks and those of Peacekpr. Third, if you only had one 3RR as you claim, it's because you were using your sock puppet, Oroboros 1, to evade additional blocks. Fourth, Dionyseus is not my friend, but he appears to be someone that shares my opinion of your edits, so I'm grateful for his help in monitoring the article. Finally, I am getting a bit tired of you rehashing things over and over again, so I'm hoping we can finish this up soon. And your inflammatory comments do nothing to help us resolve this conflict. - Skinny McGee 05:54, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

Skinny McGee is associated with other accounts

There have been no policy violations as a result of multiple accounts coming from my house. The edit made by Defender99 was by no means controversial nor was it involved with our editing disputes, and the other two accounts were never even used. - Skinny McGee 05:32, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

Arbitration

I am initiating an arbitration request on Midnight Syndicate. The formal request will be posted at Misplaced Pages:Requests for arbitration shortly. You will be a named party in this dispute. Durova 03:08, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
