The democratic elections in the early 50s are not explained very well. Could someone add a paragraph to flesh this out? How were democratically held elections implemented? The Shah was reinstated, the article states, but does not explain how he had lost power...
Fix the nonfactual reference to the Bush administration’s plans to use nuclear force. These plans are not only unconfirmed, but also alleged. Furthermore, the source article is post dated.

The economy section is poorly done, it needs some major editing along with more detailesdone!There are some "red" links that need an article- The government and politics section needs to be expanded
In the major cities section the population of Tehran given is contradicting the one given under the picture inside the gallery

The British Museum (I live in London) had a very intersting exibit about Iran/Persia.
The first human rights and freedom of religion can be traced back to Darius the break. There is actually a block about 5 ft by 2 ft. (still exists) that talks about this.
