Saket Modi (born 31st July, 1990) is a Palo Alto-based entrepreneur. He is the co-founder and CEO of Lucideus, an enterprise cyber security platforms company backed by Cisco's former Chairman and CEO John Chambers. Saket has been featured in the 40 under 40 list of Fortune Magazine, 35 under 35 list of Entrepreneur Magazine and 30 under 30 list of Forbes (magazine).

Early life

Born and raised in Calcutta, India, Saket attended his primary school education at Lakshmipat Singhania Academy and earned a degree in technology from the LNM Institute of Information Technology in 2009. Saket is also a pianist and holds a degree from the Royal Schools of Music, London on the Grand Piano.

Career

In 2012, Saket Modi teamed up with his friends Vidit Baxi and Rahul Tyagi and started Lucideus.

In 2013, Lucideus opened its first office in New Delhi and subsequently, opened other 5 offices in Bombay, Bangalore, Boston, Palo Alto and New York.

Saket’s team has been responsible for the security assessment of the BHIM, an Aadhaar-based mobile payment platform designed by National Payments Corporation of India and launched by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi on 31st December 2016.
