Stop icon

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. The Rambling Man (talk) 07:19, 6 June 2013 (UTC)

Please stop endlessly reverting edits without explanation. It is not constructive editing and you will, ultimately, be blocked. Wikipeterproject (talk) 07:33, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
I agree, one more of these such reversions (and any evidence of ongoing edit wars) and you will be blocked. The Rambling Man (talk) 17:16, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

Information icon Welcome to Misplaced Pages. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Pelé, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Misplaced Pages, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Misplaced Pages, as you did at Pelé. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Misplaced Pages's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Misplaced Pages's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 20:27, 3 July 2013 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Joshua Nascimento

The article Joshua Nascimento has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Misplaced Pages policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Disambiguation link notification for December 16

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Joshua Nascimento, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Brazillian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

December 2013

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Frank Lampard. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Misplaced Pages's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. noq (talk) 09:48, 27 December 2013 (UTC)

Hi, when updating international stats in an infobox you should update the |ntupdate= or |nationalteam-update= parameter by adding five tildes (~~~~~), which generates the specific time the update was made. Cheers, Mattythewhite (talk) 23:38, 24 June 2014 (UTC)

Hi,

Your draft article, Draft:Joshua Nascimento

Hello, BeastJ18. It has been over six months since you last edited your Articles for Creation draft article submission, "Joshua Nascimento".

In accordance with our policy that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. Reverted edits in Roger Federer article

Hi BeastJ18, I just thought I'd leave a message to you because you twice reverted my edits in the Roger Federer article without any explanation in your edit summary as to why you prefer having the "greatest of all time" still mentioned in the lead, even though I clearly stated in my edit summaries that this mention is subjective for the lead and that if you want it readded, discuss it in the talk page. The reason why it was removed from the article was because this discussion last year (which I myself took part in) established that it was too subjective to be mentioned in the lead and should just be restricted to the legacy section of the article, given how debatable the "greatest of all time" status is, especially as Nadal or Djokovic both could take that title if they overtake Federer's Slam record (with Djokovic's win over Federer yesterday making Federer's status more debatable now). So unless a new consensus decides that it can be readded to the lead, I think its better not to mention it in the lead again as it goes against the Misplaced Pages policy of consensus, and if you disagree with this, please feel free to reply to this message here or in my talk page, or you can discuss the matter in the Roger Federer talk page. And I'd also like to point out that if you revert someone else's edit when they have explained their reasoning in their edit summary, please explain the reasoning in your edit summary rather than revert without any explanation in your edit summary as that potentially could border on both disruptive editing or edit warring. And please feel free to look at the discussion I have given in the link I have provided as it explains why that bit had to be removed from the lead. Many thanks. Regarding this, do not remove reliably sourced material or reword it away from what the reliable sources state because you do not like it. We go by what the WP:Reliable sources state and with WP:Due weight. Flyer22 Frozen (talk) 00:09, 9 February 2020 (UTC)

Another Misplaced Pages account

If you are Thorr1881 (talk · contribs), then see WP:Sockpuppet. You are supposed to stick to one account unless you have a WP:LEGITSOCK reason. Looking at both accounts, this is not a legit sock case. Flyer22 Frozen (talk) 00:20, 9 February 2020 (UTC)

Looking at the Interaction Analyser in addition to other evidence I've looked at, you definitely appear to be the same person. The odds that you would both be interested in all of that? If you two interacted by speaking to one another on Misplaced Pages and were obvious editing buddies or whatever, that the overlap doesn't mean you are guilty of socking would be believable. But it's not believable in this case.

As seen above on your talk page, you've also been disruptive for years. Time for a WP:Block. Flyer22 Frozen (talk) 00:45, 9 February 2020 (UTC)
