Though an old village, it has spawned without any planning. Agriculture which was once a hallmark of this village has given a way to unplanned urbanisation. Now it’s more of a tentacle of Wazirbad city rather than a village at its own. Old families are either migrating to cities or fading away in an unplanned expansion. Mostly Jutts (Cheemas) and Arrains reside with the sprinkling of Mughals, Qazis and khokhars.).
