Jelek (assyrian:ܟ̰ܠܟ) is an Assyrian village on the western edge of the Barwari region of Kurdistan Region in the Amedi District of Dohuk Governorate. It has around 100 houses, and a historic church on a mountain overlooking the valley which the village sits within people of jelek belonge to the geramon tribe which is one of the Assryians tribes.
