Mearns Castle High School is a secondary school in Newton Mearns, a suburb of Glasgow, Scotland. The school is situated on Waterfoot Road. Newton Mearns is an affluent commuter suburb, and consequently the school achieves consistently high marks in school performance tables.

The head teacher (at time of writing) is Mr Alan McGinlay. Mr McGinlay places great importance on school uniform and regularly takes jackets from offending pupils. The school has recently received a new extension. The Media Studies Department is one of the best in the Scotland ,consistenly achieves high marks. The school is 1978 vintage.

In 2006 the school again finished first in the school performance table.

The school has been praised for its foreign exchange programme, which has allowed pupils from South Africa, Pakistan and Mexico to study in Scotland. A great example is Kyle Wilson who previously lived in a hut made of " twigs" and " mud" and was thankfully shipped over here to civilisation
