Let's talk

More stalking

... or plain coincidence? Cassianto 23:12, 31 July 2020 (UTC)

Nice. ~ HAL333 23:14, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
Sigh, HAL333. Must you be reminded to be mindful of the optics? El_C 23:16, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
Ok, ok, it was a little snippy, but the previous comment was only meant to agitate. ~ HAL333 23:24, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
What I'm talking about is supporting right after Cassianto opposed, in a bullet point right below theirs. That was a lapse in judgment on your part. To keep matters deescalating, please keep a wide margin. I'm not saying you can't participate in the same discussions, but aim for sensible distance, please. El_C 23:28, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
Will do. ~ HAL333 23:37, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
  • El_C, and are not coincidences. This has to end. One more overlap and it’s ANI time, and I doubt many people would think this is coincidence. Hal333 has never edited the Sibelius article or talk page before, so I do wonder just how he found the discussion a couple of minutes after Cass. - SchroCat (talk) 00:01, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
  • Okay, I got it. But this data could just be indicative of active interactions. Hounding is best shown through select individual diffs, which in this case would have to be recent (after deescalation was adopted). But I agree that this latest edit is suspect, which is why I admonished HAL333 for it. El_C 00:18, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
  • One more page where he magically appears and it’s ANI time. I normally avoid that cesspit like the plague, but stalking is the limit. Given this comment on the Sibelius page, it’s clear he just doesn’t get the problem stalking is here, or how many good editors have been driven off by it. That WMF are looking at bringing in heavier actions for this behaviour should stand as a warning to him, but we shall see if it gets through or not. - SchroCat (talk) 08:34, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
  • When you do it again (and I strongly suspect you will), the individual diffs will be taken from and (where there is enough prima facie evidence for most people to agree you've been stalking, given the closeness of the timings and the number of occasions where you are second to the page) and they will be put to ANI for scrutiny by the wider community. Sibelius better be the very last place where you stalk people. - SchroCat (talk) 13:28, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
  • Just thought I would drop this here. Evidence of wikihounding by Cassianto:
  • Cassianto reverts my edit on a page they have never edited
  • Cassianto shows up at F. Scott Fitzgerald, which he had never edited, devolves to ANI
  • reverts my edit on a page which they have never edited
  • reverts my edit on a page which they have never edited
Should also note that I have agreed with Cassianto on a few discussions. ~ HAL333 01:51, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
I don't think Stale diffs from March and January are actionable for the reason stated in my last comment. El_C 01:58, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
Nah, I don't really care, just pointing it out. ~ HAL333 03:15, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
  • Comment From now on, there will be no edits from this account that could be considered wikihounding. I expect the same from other editors. ~ HAL333 13:02, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
