South Korea (Han-guk, 한국; 韓國), officially known as the Republic of Korea (Daehan Min-guk, 대한민국; 大韓民國). The southern half of Korea, whose northern half is North Korea.

Currency is South Korean won (원 ; 圓), which is divided into 100 chon (분 ; 分). Chon's North Korean equivalent is jun (저 ; 錢).
