The basementMisplaced Pages talk:Revised vandalism warning systemHi Can't sleep, clown will eat me, as a vandal-fighter I thought you might be interested in seeing this discussion. Regards, Accurizer 22:26, 12 December 2006 (UTC) CheersWill take him offa my friends list now, the cheating bastard. Glad I voted for you for ArbCom now. Vizjim 08:25, 13 December 2006 (UTC) Thank youBig thanks for the barnstar. Always a pleasure to revert vandals, that is when you haven't already beaten me to the punch. Usually you have. Prolog 16:29, 13 December 2006 (UTC) Continued vandalism by 148.65.194.201Since you gave the user with IP 148.65.194.201 a temporary ban recently, I thought you may be inclined to renew the ban given his or her continued pattern of vandalism. I just gave test4, but as you can see, the user was not warned for most of the infractions. Thanks, Dan Slotman 22:25, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
Request for CommentAs an editor of the article "Jhonen Vasquez", you are invited to a Request for Comment (as suggested by Admin Luna Santin). Please see: Talk:Jhonen Vasquez#Request for Comment: Book format. -- Tenebrae 04:06, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
Many thanks for the barnstar!Questionable edits to Kurt Cobain articleThis editor's edits are somewhat questionable. He previously attempted to prod all the chaos magicians. Now he keeps adding the category of chaos magician to Kurt Cobain even though nothing is mentioned in the article about it. He has also personally attacked me and appears to think he knows who I am, attempting to expose (someone's) name. He is the series of IPs he has recently edited. See the talk pages for warnings given. He switched IPs to avoid 3RR. I'm not even sure how to report a roving violation.

Anon-only block enabledWhen you blocked 65.19.91.99 you must have forgotten to check the Anom only box because I was blocked as well and had to be unblocked by another Admin. Just a headsup.--St.daniel 18:15, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

User page problemCan't Sleep, I have a problem with a specific user page. I was reffered to you by Persian Poet Gal. The user:patrick hyde page has mentioned specific names and personally attacked them. Would you be able to either warn, block, or delete the page? Andrew Winston 02:49, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
Unblock listG'day Can't Sleep, A user called Sandra Brown has sent a message to the unblock list. She claimed that you were the blocking admin. Capitalistroadster 07:06, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
Frederick Guy ButlerCould you now consider removing the "cite sources" note on the above page - I've cited the obituary page and included a link. ThanksThank you for the barnstar :-) Although I am curious what precisely were my contributions you gave the barnstar for... Reverting vandalism or main article edits..? Or both? --BorgQueen 00:29, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
Thank from Vuong Ngan HaI tried as you adviced and through Special:Userlogin there it is seeming no any problem with editing in Misplaced Pages, but there also a little inconvenience, because I always have to reply/confirm to the message box of "Security information". Anyway, it is better than always get message showing that user is blocked. Vuong Ngan Ha 03:25, 17 December 2006 (UTC) WP:UWHi, You have put yourself as interested in helping out atWikiProject on user warnings. We are now at a stage where we are creating the new templates and are wondering if you are still interested? If so please visit the overview page and choose a warning type you wish to work on. There is a base template available here, which you can copy and use to get you started. Have a look through the redirects and see what old templates are affected and incorporate them into the the new system. Anyway, any questions please don't hesitate to give me a shout. Regards Khukri 08:41, 17 December 2006 (UTC) Template:IPAThis is not a high risk template. It does not appear on article pages, and should never be transcluded.

It seems a vandal I've warned with a test4 thinks that because he uses a shared IP that he's immune from blocking (), which worries me somewhat. Cheers, ----Dweller 14:15, 19 December 2006 (UTC) James Blunt fansite removalHi there - noticed that you had done a clean-up of the excessive number of fansite links on this article. Unfortunately, it appears you've taken off a few that weren't really fansites, such as Blunt's official website, and the IMDB link; as well as a single fansite which had been allowed to remain pursuant to some fairly extensive discussion on the talk page (it is a fact site that complements the Misplaced Pages article without driving it into pointless detail). If you have no problems, I will re-add those three sites later today when I am back at my home computer; however, if you have concerns, please let me know. I have no desire to step on anyone's toes. Thanks. Risker 19:43, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

Still, thank you so very much.TonyCrew 00:22, 20 December 2006 (UTC) BloodsYa beat me to it, I was just about to remove that material as well. Nice userpage!Your monobook.jsHello, Can't sleep! I was wondering what does your monobbok code do? No offence intended, but I hate trying to read the script and find it easier to just ask. Also, if I have your permission and I if I wish to use it, may I "borrow" the code? Thanks and since I can't remember your talk page rules, coul you respondd on my talk page? Thanks a bunch! Non-Latin username blocksThere is some dispute as to whether these blocks are supported. There are many active editors who do just fine contributing with non-latin names. Per the discussion here, there seems be support for reccomending for to people creating a username at en.WP to not use non-latin characters. But does not appear to be consensus for blocking people on sight who already have a non-latin account at another Wikimedia wiki. Will you please start taking these non-latin username through Misplaced Pages:Requests for comment/User names in order to better gather opions on the mattter? Thank you for your attention to this matter.--Birgitte§β ʈ Talk 17:05, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
There is not a paticular case, it is rather that people do not agree on how the policy is interpereted. There are claims the non-latin usernames are not be automatically blocked and therefore no reason to change the policy . I thought if RfC's were used it would shed light on how people are interepreting the policy. Then we might be able to hammer something out. Right now there is not even agreement on what has happened with non-latin name in the past. Since there are several active non-latin editors it does not appear there was a widespread community effort to rid en.WP of non-latin usernames. I am told the policy does not need changing since there were only a trivial number of blocks. This is why I left messages for the admins who invovled in blocking non-latin names. If non-latin usernames are no longer blocked for whatever reason I would be happy. But I thought if anyone still wanted to make these blocks taking it through RfC could clarify the issue. I have been disscusing the issue at the talk page, and there has also been disscusion on mailing lists. BTW that is the third time for that removal, I wouldn't count on it sticking--Birgitte§β ʈ Talk 19:27, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
