City of the Plague God is an upcoming novel about Mesopotamian mythology written by Sarwat Chadda. It is set to be released in January 2021, and is part of the Rick Riordan Presents imprint.
Plot
The story will follow Sikander Aziz, a Muslim boy who resides in Manhattan. Aziz joins forces with the legendary Gilgamesh to defeat to devious god of plagues before the entirety of Manhattan is demolished.

Release
City of the Plague God will be released on January 5, 2021, in ebook and hardback format through the Rick Riordan Presents imprint of Disney-Hyperion. An audiobook adaptation will be released simultaneously through Random House's Listening Library.
