Jamshid Sharmahd (Template:Lang-fa; born 23 March 1955) is an Iranian-German journalist. Since 2003 he has lived in the United States, where he is a legal resident. In late July 2020, the Iranian government abducted Sharmahd from Dubai and brought him to Iran. The Iranian government alleges Sharmahd is responsible for a 2008 attack on a mosque in Shiraz that killed 14 people and wounded 200 more. His family denies the accusations.
