"Ghetto"
Song

"Ghetto" is the title of a 2005 single by R&B singer Akon. It reached number ninety-two on the Billboard Hot 100, and is a cut off Akon's debut album, Trouble. There are 3 remixes of this song, one International Remix featuring Ali B & Yes R, two Dutch-Moroccan rap artists. And one featuring 2Pac and The Notorious B.I.G., and one with lyrics of 2pac's original ghetto gospel.

The song's lyrics describe the cycle of poverty experienced by those living in poor, inner city areas. Additionally, it describes the physical and psychological oppression with which these residents must deal on a regular basis.
