K. Lierse S.K. is a Belgianfootball club, from the town of Lier in the Antwerp province. Its matricule is the n°30. The most capped player at the club is Bernard Voorhoof (topscorer of the Belgium national football team with Paul Van Himst) with 61 caps, all when he was at Lierse. Lierse S.K. is in the Jupiler League since 1988-89. Norwegian Kjetil Rekdal, a former player for Lierse, has confirmed that he is taking over the vacant role as coach/manager at the club.
