The National Offshore Petroleum Safety Authority (NOPSA) was the occupational health and safety (OHS) regulator for the Australian offshore petroleum industry between 2005 and 2011. The role of regulator has been transferred to the National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority (NOPSEMA) from the first of January 2012.
