Proposed merge of Bryan Riser into Dallas Police Department
MERGE The result of this merger discussion was merge. Per WP:MERGECLOSE, the closer does not need to be wp:uninvolved editors. ~ Aselestecharge-parity 12:27, 13 March 2021 (UTC)The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on the appropriate discussion page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
This is likely a case of WP:BLP1E.
- The sources only discuss about the murder charge.
- Being in prison, the person is likely to remain a low-profile individual.
- The murder is not a significant event.
Dallas Police Department#Incidents involving misconduct should be the section to be merged into. ~ Ase1estecharge-parity 13:44, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
- Support-Creator. I can support a merge. It is clear that the event was notable due to 5 national RS + 1 local (Local kind of considered RS). But yeah, he would only be notable for that set of 2 murders. So a merge would be fine with all the information & sources being merged. Elijahandskip (talk) 13:51, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
- Support merge Bryan Riser should never have been started as a stand-alone article with the absence of any basic biographical information. Schazjmd (talk) 15:58, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
