Sandra Selimovi is an actor, director, rapper, and activist from the Roma community. She was born in Zajecar in 1981. She moved to Vienna with her family when she was five years old. She began her acting career in 1994 and rose to prominence as a popular actor, director, and rapper in Vienna's independent theatrical scene. He can communicate in five different languages.
She is a strong supporter of women's emancipation in the Roma community and is dedicated to ending Romaphobia. She formed "Romano Svato," the first feminist and professional Roma theater association, alongside her sister Simonida Selimovi.
Sandra Selimovi is a rapper who is a member of the duet "Mind Panther." The name is derived from the Romani word "minja", a filthy term for the vagina, and mixes it with the word "panther", a reference to the Black Panther organization, in order to evoke a sense of defiance.
