Hello, I'm Utcursch. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, Bappa Rawal, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. utcursch | talk 03:19, 15 July 2018 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Girth Summit. I noticed that you recently removed content from Ayurveda without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Misplaced Pages with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. GirthSummit (blether) 15:47, 26 October 2018 (UTC)
- To be clear, you removed an assertion which was support by a cited source, without giving any grounds for removal, e.g. 'it's not supported by the source', or 'the source is unreliable because...'. Don't just remove material you disagree with or believe to be untrue. Thanks GirthSummit (blether) 15:49, 26 October 2018 (UTC)
An extended welcome
Hi Dhkstuopj. Welcome to Misplaced Pages. I've added a welcome message to the top of this page that gives a great deal of information about Misplaced Pages. I hope you find it useful.
Additionally, I hope you don't mind if I share some of my thoughts on starting out as a new editor on Misplaced Pages: If I could get editors in your situation to follow just one piece of advice, it would be this: Learn Misplaced Pages by working only on non-contentious topics until you have a feel for the normal editing process and the policies that usually come up when editing casually. You'll find editing to be fun, easy, and rewarding. The rare disputes are resolved quickly and easily.
Working on biographical information about living persons is far more difficult. Misplaced Pages's Biographies of living persons policy requires strict adherence to multiple content policies, and applies to all information about living persons including talk pages.
If you have a relationship with the topics you want to edit, then you will need to review Misplaced Pages's Conflict of interest policy, which may require you to disclose your relationship and restrict your editing depending upon how you are affiliated with the subject matter.
Some topic areas within Misplaced Pages have special editing restrictions that apply to all editors. It's best to avoid these topics until you are extremely familiar with all relevant policies and guidelines.
I hope you find some useful information in all this, and welcome again. --Ronz (talk) 16:45, 26 October 2018 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Misplaced Pages, as you did at Afghan–Sikh Wars. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. ---Wikaviani 14:29, 9 January 2019 (UTC)
Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Misplaced Pages.
When editing Misplaced Pages, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Umayyad campaigns in India does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
- User contributions
- Recent changes
- Watchlists
- Revision differences
- IRC channels
- Related changes
- New pages list
- Article editing history
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Kautilya3 (talk) 17:39, 18 January 2019 (UTC)

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Noakhali riots. This violates Misplaced Pages's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. Vanamonde (Talk) 20:46, 24 July 2019 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Misplaced Pages, as you did at Partition of India. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Please note that longstanding phrasing which constitutes summary of longstanding WP articles, should not be changed without some discussion on the talk page. This page comes under the purview of ARBCOM's discretionary sanctions. You have been engaging in similar behavior on other pages. Furthermore, using intemperate language "Pakistani idiots" in an edit summary is a serious violations of WP guidelines Pinging @Kautilya3 and Vanamonde93: Fowler&fowler«Talk» 08:25, 15 August 2019 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Misplaced Pages's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Misplaced Pages's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Misplaced Pages, as you did at Indian religions, you may be blocked from editing. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 13:59, 6 October 2019 (UTC)

You have changed the figures drastically with this edit. But you neither provided any new source nor mentioned the reason for those changes. If the existing figures are wrong/misrepresented then please fix them after providing a reliable source & a clear edit summary. Thanks. - NitinMlk (talk) 06:19, 12 January 2020 (UTC)
