Hi Refer these and many more, Lingayat's does not worship Shiva. Please try to understand these vachanas, As you mentioned that Shiva is not provides link to Vaidik Rudra, then My question is Why you want use this as 'Shiva', Yes I know from Pune to Ooty people worships different all gods, This does not mean that show the wrong information to the public about Lingayat. As what exactly the Sharanas said need to show, whether people are following are not is the different issue. As per Constitution many laws are not followed its does not mean that do not show the correct law!!!. So we need to show the correct Sharanas Vachanas meaning not like people not folow than do not show the correct one. Our aim is to tell people that this the correct one. So please refer these more vachanas and please do not use Shiva word in the Lingayat stub.

Dear Irrigator, I would like to request you, not to repeatedly change the image of the Template:Lingayatism. It creates confusion that Lingayat worship Shiva. But in reality Lingyat's worship GOD in the form "Ishtalinga" Which is not symbol of Shiva. Lingayat does not worship SHIVA. Please refer these Vachanas.

I reverted the info you added because those weren't reliable soruces; but looking more closely, I see it was directly copied from those sources. You may never copy text from non-public domain sources onto wikipedia, under any circumstance. This is the same issue as raised in the above section. Please ask if you have questions. Welcome to Misplaced Pages. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Ashok Kheny. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. — Abhishek 10:25, 7 July 2011 (UTC)
Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Misplaced Pages, as you did to Bangalore–Mysore Infrastructure Corridor, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. — Abhishek 10:34, 7 July 2011 (UTC)
Your citations
Hi, I really appreciate the addition of citations to Ashok Kheny and BMIC articles. But I have removed some of them as they do not conform to the WP:RS and WP:V policies. File source problem with File:Siddhaveerappa.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:Siddhaveerappa.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Misplaced Pages. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. ☼ 09:26, 3 September 2011 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of M. Mahadevappa
The article M. Mahadevappa has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Misplaced Pages policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. February 2014 - reverting edits and adding inappropriate images
Hello, I am Rocknrollmancer. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Royal Enfield where you have re-added an inappropriate image which I have previously deleted, did not appear to be constructive and again has been reverted or removed.
Please do not place modern images into articles relating to an earlier period for your personal views. This Royal Enfield article is up to 1971 and does not need a 2000-onwards image as the text is sufficient. The image is already in the correct article, Royal Enfield (India). Thank you. -- Rocknrollmancer (talk) 14:27, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers
The article Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Seems to be like an advertisement with the only source being the official website. Refraining from speedy deletion because article is not new.
While all constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Gparyani (talk) 16:51, 10 October 2014 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open!
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Gowda
You are reverting the other editor for vandalism, but you have not warned him or raised the issue on the talk page. If it's vandalism, warn him and/or report him. If it's not then you are edit warring. Content disputes are not vandalism. Neither are unsourced or poor edits. Meters (talk) 03:49, 6 February 2016 (UTC)

- Either make time or stop editing the article. Meters (talk) 21:04, 6 February 2016 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Gowda. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Misplaced Pages's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
Stop edit warring on this article. Many of your edits are questionable, but in particular your family tree. I've removed it. It does not contribute anything useful to the article and it is original research. See WP:OR. You have inserted this image more than 10 times in the last few days. Meters (talk) 18:20, 9 February 2016 (UTC)
- Regarding the Edit war thing, the issue has been resolved. Moreover, i did not violate the Bright-line rule. Considering the nature of the topic, it was too tough to collaborate with users who used to put repeatedly the same content through IP addresses. The article can be considered too sensitive, subsequently, two user IDs were created by two different persons to exclusively edit the article. And, about the image of family tree, it is as good as the other images uploaded which do appear to be of original research at the outset. Considering the genealogical nature of the topic it depicts, and it's rarity, i do believe that it can not be classified as being of WO:OR. I do consider the image as relevant to the article, hence, i will put it back. Your opinion is heartly welcome. Thank You.- ~ Irrigator 02:16, 10 February 2016 (UTC)
Misplaced Pages and copyright
Hello Irrigator, and welcome to Misplaced Pages. All or some of your addition(s) to Hanumanthappa Koppad has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Misplaced Pages, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and a cited source. You can read about this at Misplaced Pages:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Misplaced Pages:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Misplaced Pages:Copyrights. You may also want to review Misplaced Pages:Copy-paste.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Misplaced Pages:Donating copyrighted materials.
- In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Misplaced Pages:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
- Also note that Misplaced Pages articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Misplaced Pages project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Misplaced Pages:Copying within Misplaced Pages.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. The Masked Man of Mega Might (talk) 10:09, 13 February 2016 (UTC)
- I appreciate your concern, but, i did not get where exactly i did the copyright violation. Nowhere i did the copy paste. Please take time to point out. Thank you.-- ~ Irrigator 14:53, 13 February 2016 (UTC)
- Hi, these edits , have been copied directly from the PTI news story , also carried by various other news agencies . This is not allowed. The Masked Man of Mega Might (talk) 21:54, 13 February 2016 (UTC)
- Dude, i have edited the page from my office which has a restricted internet connection. Only Google search is allowed, not even gmail, while i have got access to English wikipedia beacuse i requested for it. How come it is possible for me to copy paste the content from the webpages whose URl can only be seen while not their contents? I hope you understand. Cheers. ~ Irrigator 05:20, 14 February 2016 (UTC)
- Hi, I do not understand. You introduced copyrighted text into the article here and here with the summary "added content" and the template above is just a reminder not to do it again. The Masked Man of Mega Might (talk) 07:10, 14 February 2016 (UTC)

File source problem with File:Fostersbeer.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:Fostersbeer.jpg.
Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 12:18, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for June 21
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Basava Sagara, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bijapur District. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

September 2016
Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Misplaced Pages page. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Misplaced Pages policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. Please read WP:OR, WP:RS, WP:BLP and WP:INDICSCRIPT. Misplaced Pages is built on policies and community consensus, not on the whims of an editor who has no clue what he is doing. Dee03 05:48, 9 September 2016 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at K. L. Rahul, you may be blocked from editing. File permission problem with File:Jatti.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Jatti.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Misplaced Pages:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Misplaced Pages:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Misplaced Pages:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Misplaced Pages's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:17, 15 June 2017 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:5.General S.M. Shrinagesh.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:5.General S.M. Shrinagesh.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 14:48, 4 July 2017 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Davanagere City Corporation
Hello Irrigator,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Davanagere City Corporation for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

- @Irrigator and Umakant Bhalerao: While the relevant URLs (http://davanagerecity.mrc.gov.in/, https://davangerepolice.karnataka.gov.in/ and so on) aren't working for me at present, it would appear to me that websites like Facebook and LinkedIn may well possibly contain the same COPYVIO text. While I trust Umakant's judgment on this, I would urge them to to provide "more and better particulars". As for the historical information, I note that the Digital South Asia Library UChicago page says Whenever possible, the Digital South Asia Library and the Digital Dictionaries of South Asia use a Creative Commons license. However, some materials are governed by further copyright restrictions Pete AU AKA
