American college baseball seasons
The Evansville Pioneers/Purple Aces baseball program's first three official seasons of competition were from 1924 to 1926, representing Evansville College – now the University of Evansville – as an independent. The school discontinued the baseball program from 1927 to 1945 before reviving it in 1946.

The 1925 Evansville Pioneers baseball team represented Evansville College – now the University of Evansville – as an independent during the 1925 NCAA baseball season . John Harmon coached the team in his second season at Evansville.
1926
The 1926 Evansville Purple Aces baseball team represented Evansville College – now the University of Evansville – as an independent during the 1926 NCAA baseball season . John Harmon coached the team in his third season at Evansville. This was the first season in which Evansville used the nickname of Purple Aces . Following the end of the 1926 season, Evansville College discontinued the program until it was revived in 1946.
