American college football season
The 2024 Penn State Nittany Lions football team represents Pennsylvania State University in the Big Ten Conference during the 2024 NCAA Division I FBS football season . The Nittany Lions are led by head coach James Franklin , who is in his 11th year. Their home stadium is Beaver Stadium in College Township, Pennsylvania , with a mailing address of University Park . Following a 44–7 win against Maryland , and a 13–10 Michigan win over Ohio State in the final week of the regular season, the Nittany Lions clinched their first Big Ten Championship appearance since 2016 , which they lost against the Oregon Ducks .
