Vinogradov) Russian mathematician (1929–2005 Not to be confused with the Russian mathematicians Alexandre Vinogradov (of Vinogradov sequence) or Ivan Vinogradov (of Vinogradov's theorem). In this name that follows Eastern Slavic naming customs, the patronymic is Ivanovich and the family name is Vinogradov.

Askold Ivanovich Vinogradov (Russian: Аско́льд Ива́нович Виногра́дов; 1929 – 31 December 2005) was a Russian mathematician who worked in analytic number theory. The Bombieri–Vinogradov theorem is partially named after him.
