Abu Shanak (Persian: ابوشانك) is a village in, and the capital of, Bahmanshir-e Jonubi Rural District of the Central District of Abadan County, Khuzestan province, Iran.

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,031 in 161 households. The following census in 2011 counted 652 people in 174 households. The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,173 people in 352 households.
