Akira Gunji (郡司 彰, Gunji Akira, born 11 December 1949) is a Japanese politician of the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan and formerly a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet (national legislature). He serves as Vice President of the House of Councillors.
Overview
A native of Mito, Ibaraki and dropout of Meiji Gakuin University, he was elected to the House of Councillors for the first time in 1998.
