Alex Shackell (born November 13, 2006) is an American swimmer and a member of United States team for the 2024 Summer Olympics. Shackell qualified at the 2024 US Olympic Swimming Team Trials, where she placed sixth in the 200m freestyle.

Personal life

Her brother, Aaron, has also qualified for the 2024 US Olympic team after placing first in the 400m freestyle. Shackell's father, Nicholas, was also an Olympic swimmer, representing Great Britain at the 1996 Summer Olympics in the 100m freestyle.
