Alexis Hall is an English author of urban fantasy, science fiction, and LGBTQ romance. His novels include Boyfriend Material, The Affair of the Mysterious Letter, and others.

His work has been nominated for the 26th Lambda Literary Awards, 28th Lambda Literary Awards, and 29th Lambda Literary Awards in the category of Gay Romance.

Hall is genderfluid and uses any pronouns.

Career

Alexis Hall has held a variety of jobs, "including ice cream maker, fortune teller, lab technician, and professional gambler." A published author since 2013, he had four newly released romance books in 2022.

In 2021 Sourcebooks obtained the rights to Hall's Spires series, re-releasing the original 4 installments followed by two new stand-alone romances in the series.

In 2022, Paramount Pictures' Original Film production company obtained the rights to Rosaline Palmer Takes the Cake. Cameron Fuller, Gregg Sulkin, and Maisie Richardson-Sellers were attached to executive produce.

In 2024, For Real was listed on Oprah Daily's 25 Greatest Romance Novels of All Time.
