Andrea Gómez (born April 13, 1985, in Mérida, Venezuela) is a Venezuelan model and beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss Venezuela International 2004 and was the official representative of Venezuela to the Miss International 2005 pageant held in Tokyo, Japan on September 26, 2005 when she classified in the Top semifinalists.
Gómez competed in the national beauty pageant Miss Venezuela 2004 and obtained the title of Miss Venezuela International. She represented the Distrito Capital.
Career
When Andrea was 14 years old, she enrolled in modeling classes at the John Casablancas Modeling and Career Center. By age 15, she began her modeling career, working with renowned designers such as Versace, Armani, Angel Sanchez, Samy Gicherman, Gabriela Arango, Franco Montoro. By 2004, Gomez graced the covers of magazines like Glamour, Vogue, Buen Hogar, Vanidades, establishing herself as one of the most sought-after figures in her country.
In July 2007, Andrea transitioned to the corporate world, joining VeriFone, a leading company in point-of-sale equipment. She excelled in her role as General Manager for the Caribbean, Central America, and Andean region, showcasing her business acumen and leadership skills.
In 2020, Andrea ventured into entrepreneurship, launching her own successful skincare brand, G&U Skincare, which quickly gained traction as a thriving family business in the e-commerce sphere.
Personal life
In October 2011 she married Ecuadorian tennis player Giovanni Lapentti. In March 2012 the couple had a baby girl, Giulianna Lapentti Gomez and in December 2013 they had a baby boy, Giovanni Francesco Lapentti Gomez. The couple divorced in 2017, and in May 2022, Andrea tied the knot with Colombian businessman Gustavo Gomez." .
