Brigadier-General Andrii Viktorovych Hnatov (Ukrainian: Андрій Вікторович Гнатов) is a Ukrainian military officer, who has served as the Commander of the Joint Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from June 24, 2024. He succeeded Yurii Sodol in the post.
Assignments
Hnatov is Commander of the Joint Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (KOS of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military unit A0135), commanding troops of the Eastern Operational Command.
He was previously the Deputy Commander of the Southern Operational Command.
In 2018, he worked to move Ukraine's armed forces away from the Soviet model, both for uniforms and symbols and for combat doctrines.
