Ankur Warikoo (born 25 August 1980) is an Indian entrepreneur, YouTube content creator and writer. He is currently the founder of WebVeda
Early life and education
Ankur Warikoo was born on 25 August 1980 in New Delhi to Kashmiri Pandit parents from Srinagar. Warikoo received a bachelor's degree in physics from Hindu College, Delhi and completed his schooling from Don Bosco School (Alaknanda, New Delhi). He did MBA from Indian School of Business. He enrolled for a PhD in astrophysics to become a space scientist and then later dropped out of Michigan State University.
Career
Warikoo started his career in 2008 by co-founding his first startup, Exancium Web, which ran websites like Gaadi.com and Secondshaadi.com. In 2011, he became the CEO of Groupon India. In 2015, he became the CEO of Nearbuy.com. In 2019, he resigned from Nearbuy.com. In 2021, he released his first book 'Do Epic Shit'. And in 2022 he published his second book, 'Get Epic Cold Done'.
