Arctornis is a genus of tussock moths in the family Erebidae, the namesake of the tribe Arctornithini, and disputedly the sole genus in the tribe. The genus was erected by Ernst Friedrich Germar in 1810.

  1. Wang et al in 2015 considered it the sole genus in the tribe, with several other genera (Carriola, Topomesoides and Sitvia) deemed synonyms of Arctornis. Shovkoon & Trofimova in 2024 revised the status of Carriola, restoring it to the status of separate genus within Arctornithini.
