Aroosa (Urdu: عروسہ, lit. 'Bride') is a 1994 Pakistani television series that aired on PTV, written by Fatima Surayya Bajia based on Zubaida Khatoon's eponymous novel, and directed by Qasim Jalali. It was the debut serial of Adnan Siddiqui and Mishi Khan.
Synopsis
Tofique (Shakeel) is a barrister, who shared a close bond with his younger (Neelofar) and (Ishrat) older sisters but neglected his wife Anjum (Ghazala). Tofique divorced Anjum when their daughter Uroosa (Mishi) was just a baby. His second marriage with a refined, educated woman creates complications as his sisters find her hard to tolerate.

Casting
The lead role of Shehryar, before offering to Siddiqui was earlier offered to Aijaz Aslam who refused it due to his study engagements.
